A risk analysis is performed in two steps, according to the Veriscan model. One where risks are identified and evaluated in terms of likelihood and consequence, one where the organization will decide on which risks should be acted upon and which should be accepted.
The risk analysis may be focused on general information security, mostly aiming at a specific predefined area, or it may be focused on technology.
The attendance during the workshop is determined by the focus, so that relevant Veriscan specialists can support the team in discussions about risks and suitable actions.
The end result of a risk analysis is a simple report that may be used by the organization for follow-up on decided actions.
Veriscan has seen a need among its customers for a user-friendly tool for risk analysis and have therefore developed a web-based and flexible risk tool, VeriscanRISK , which manages risk analysis regardless of type.
